The programme aims at maintaining the productivity of Palestinian Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) affected by the current adverse economic situation through the establishment of a Special Fund in the form of a Soft Loan. The credit will be lent to a number of SMEs on the basis of project proposals which will meet the criteria requested to benefit from the loan. read more close

Main outcome

The Programme’s expected results can be summarised as follows: a. For SMEs: better access to domestic and foreign market information, improved management skills, higher product quality (through better technologies), wider international relations with foreign business associations. These results would lead to an increase in sales and the opportunity to allocate new products on the market. b. Increased availability of medium-long term capital and increased availability of Foreign Direct Investment.
