The project will create three medical centres for the laparoscopic treatment of surgical pathologies and organise local training courses for doctors health workers and hospital managers. Specifically the project aims are: Strenghtenin the health system of the Palestinian population living in the the West Bank, through the enhancement of public hospitals in their diagnostic and therapeutic skills; Improving quality and quantity of diagnostic and therapeutic use of minimally invasive surgical techniques and their dissemination to public hospitals (Jenin, Jericho and Beit Jala); Introduction in public hospitals of advanced laparoscopic procedures and endoscopic expertise. Main outcome

Development in public hospitals in Jenin, Jericho, Beit Jala of educational activities and clinics within the surgical and gynecological laparoscopic procedures, thanks to the adjustment of structures and biomedical park and the adoption of training certificates; biomedical Park facilities are appropriate in public hospitals in Nablus and Hebron; Certified training courses are realised; Coordination, implementation and monitoring of activities in the five hospitals, in order to gave the opportunity to medical and nursing staff to improve their skills and implement clinical activities.
