The Project, started in 2010, has provided technical assistance in fruit and vegetables production phase, post-harvest phase (handling, grading, packaging) and in the processing and marketing of the agricultural products. During four years of implementation, the project involved about 6000 direct beneficiaries. The activities carried out by the project were as follows: construction of two warehouses with lines for the selection, packaging and storage of fruit; rehabilitation of the offices of the Farm Services Centers of Matta and Kabal destroyed during military operations in 2009; trainings (Integrated Crop Management, post-harvest management, business management and microfinance); Study tour in Italy; Technical assistance to farmers by the local extesionists and and international consultants; Marketing support. read more close
