The Programme, through an Italo-Tunisian partnership between homologue institutions, aims to support the policy of Tunisian Government in promoting private sector, namely in four specific sectors: i) capacity development of SMEs' promoting institutions; ii) promotion of youth and women entrepreneurship; iii) upgrading of SMEs; iv) promotion of innovating spin-off and start-up. i) the Directorate-General for the promotion of SMEs and their regional structures of private sector support; ii) the management company of the fund capital risk for the spin-off, iii) the four Management Companies of the four technology centers in Monastir- El Fejja, Bizerte, Sousse and Gafsa; iv) the SMEs financing Bank; v) the economic ministries (trade, agriculture, handcrafts); vii) the Ministry of Women, family and childhood; and viii) the Ministry of Social Affairs.

Difficulty in finding Technical Agencies with the required expertise interested in participating to the biddings.

Possibility of having unsuccesfull biddings.

Actions taken

To mitigate the risk, we intensifiy the awareness raising on the bidding among the possible participants to the biddings. At the same time we promoted the idea of creating ad hoc consortia to respond to the bids.
