Il progetto intende favorire lo sviluppo delle capacità locali in tema di governance con particolare riguardo al delicato tema dello stato civile. Il progetto punta ad incidere sul miglioramento della qualità degli atti, su una qualche semplificazione amministrativa e su una più motivata adesione della popolazione, col conseguente atteso aumento delle iscrizioni nei termini di legge (60 giorni), al fine di tutelare maggiormente i minori e le loro famiglie. read more close

1) Retraining assured to 393 public officials involved in the system of civil status (national leaders on a provincial basis, agents, presidents of the Civil Court on a provincial basis) 2) Printing and distribution of 1050 new civil registers 3) Raising awareness on the protection of children's rights ensured to 1014 women and leaders of local NGOs in the field

DIRECT RECIPIENTS (a) administrative managers and agents of civil status selected on a provincial basis (b) Presidents of the Civil Court and Court of departmental Arrondissement selected on a provincial basis (c) auditors, as registrars, of 21 selected rural municipalities (provinces of Houet and Sanguié) (d) Heads of communities, activists of local NGOs (e) the Presidents of associations for the protection of the rights of the disabled (f) Women involved in development programs. INDIRECT BENEFICIARIES 75% of children born in the provinces of Houet Sanguié and in the 36 months of the project and that will be registered at birth as provided by law (about 120000).
