Main outcome

In order to achieve the objectives, the intervention strategy will be oriented to the support of local institutions (particularly Ministry of Education and Higher Education and Deir-MOEHE Debwan Industrial Secondary School - DDSIS) and private entities (Salesian Technical School and STS- Guidance and Training Center-GTC) through: 1. Improvement of the vocational training system (levels of preparation of teachers, facilities, materials and teaching aids, introduction of new disciplines environmentally conscious), with particular reference to the problems of hardship and social exclusion of vulnerable groups (children and women ). 2. Improvement of the shares and the means to promote access to employment, including new and expanding business areas (renewable energy), resulting in an increase in employment among young people trained. 3. Support to local community, by supporting the development of the craft sector and the initiation of income-generating activities, especially for women and young people trained, and through environmental awareness activities.
