Description

This 12-month phase of the initiative implemented by UNIDO focused on the growth of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) on the national, regional and international markets by supporting the formulation of new strategies, laws and policies dedicated to them. The project has been a key contributor to the development of draft laws and implementing regulations, in particular the Law for Industrial Development. Moreover, the project has contributed to the strengthening of lacquer ware production cluster in Bagan by encouraging collective activities and the creation of a producers association.
